Ways of becoming involved

Keep up to date with what's going on

The best way to keep up to date is via the LCC City e-mail list. To sign up to the you can either visit its page or send an e-mail to lcccity-subscribe@yahoogroups.com.

Meetings

We alternate meeting times between lunchtimes and evenings so that both those who work and also those that live in the City can be involved. Check the news page for the latest.

Regular and one-off tasks

We realise not everyone has time to help out in the running of City Cyclists - if you are interested, we can answer your questions - but if you can spend some time doing anything from distributing newsletters, staffing stalls, or helping with the newsletter that would be great. We’re also looking about making some more positions in the group to structure it better and allocate tasks for those who can help over the longer term.

Your comments and suggestions

If you can’t spare the time to get involved, we welcome your comments on our proposals. We are also trying to do a little survey, the results of which will be put on this site. Send us an e-mail with what you like and dislike about cycling in the City and what in your view are the five most important things that could be done to improve cycling and what our group should be doing.

Place of work/study

Perhaps you could get your workplace to sign up to our campaign for better cycling facilities or even join the LCC Corporate Affiliation scheme. We plan to put a list of City Business on this site. Getting corporate involvement would make a big difference: we’re looking for someone with good interpersonal skills and a passion for cycling to get Business on board to start this off.

If you work or live within the City of London to become a member join the London Cycling Campaign and put “City of London” down as your area.
